For our clients, their home holds deep sentimental value,  having been cherished by their family for generations.  The decision to renovate was not taken lightly,  as it marked a significant step in their journey together.   Understanding this emotional connection,  we approached the design process with sensitivity, working together to ensure every choice reflected both their vision and our professional expertise.  While initial plans began as simple drawings, the final decision emerged through ongoing discussions and shared decision making.  

Material selection was central to achieving the desired blend of tradition and contemporary style.  We chose Green oak,  prepared and cut on site, to honour the home’s heritage and provide warmth.  Stone sourced from the Cotswolds added character,  while bespoke aluminium facia, soffit and guttering introduced a modern touch.  African wood cladding added richness and texture to the exterior.    Each element was carefully considered to balance warmth and timeless charm with modern design.
